Redefining Boudoir Photography in Lake County
Timeless Artwork
About Brian
I create empowering fine art boudoir portraits for women. Watching a woman rediscover herself and reclaim her confidence is one of the most rewarding things I've ever experienced. When I show her the back of the camera and she says, "I can't believe that's me." Not because the photographs are glamorized or unrealistic, but because she is actually seeing herself, sometimes for the first time in a long time. I never get tired of that moment.
What I offer is something most women have never experienced. A private studio. An unhurried day. A professional hair and makeup artist. And a photographer who has made it his mission to redefine what boudoir photography can be. Not the cliché version you've seen before. Fine art portraits that are classy, elegant, respectful, deeply personal, and empowering.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear to my boudoir session?
Bring a mix of options that feel like you. That could be lingerie, an oversized shirt, a cozy sweater, or something completely unexpected. There are no rules here. We will talk through your wardrobe during our consultation so you feel confident about everything you bring.
Do I need to be a certain age or size?
Not at all. I photograph women of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. Many of my clients are women in their 40s and beyond who are ready to reclaim their confidence and remind themselves of how beautiful they are. If something inside you is drawn to this experience, that is enough.
How long does a session take?
Most sessions run three to four hours from the moment you arrive for hair and makeup through the end of your session. I never rush the process. The experience itself is a big part of what you are here for.
Where is the studio located?
The studio is located on beautiful Bangs Lake in Wauconda, Illinois. It is completely private and by appointment only. Once we book your consultation I will send you the full address and directions.
Do I need prior experience in front of a camera?
None at all. I will guide you through every pose and expression from start to finish. Most of the women I photograph have never done anything like this before, and nearly all of them tell me it was one of the most empowering experiences of their lives.
When should I book my boudoir session?
I recommend booking four to six weeks out. That gives us plenty of time to plan your session properly and makes sure your portraits and any products you order are ready when you need them.
What happens after my session?
A few weeks after your session we will get together for a private viewing where you will see your portraits for the first time. That is always my favorite time. From there you will choose your favorites and decide on wall art, an album, or anything else you would like to order. I walk you through the process from start to finish.
