Fine Art Branding

Rita had been a client of mine years earlier when I was working in video production. For her portrait session, she was not quite sure what to expect. Unsure about wardrobe, she brought plenty of options, which gave us the flexibility to explore different styles. She was a little nervous at first, but Rita is the kind of person who embraces a challenge and steps outside her comfort zone, which is one of the many things I admire about her. I guided her gently through the session, helping with wardrobe choices, poses, and expressions along the way.

Her session was a blend of personal branding and classic portraiture. Rita has a naturally bright and cheerful spirit, and she loves to smile. I suspect it took some effort for her to hold back those smiles to create the more model like expressions I asked for, but she managed it beautifully. She told me she was channeling Christie Brinkley for inspiration.

We finished with more than thirty wonderful portraits in a range of looks and styles, including a few holiday themed images she can use for her business. Rita chose a beautiful reveal box with matted prints, perfect for displaying her portraits at home.
